Who We Are
Lincs Horse Transport was established by Anne Kneen in 2017. An experienced horse woman, Anne wanted to turn her lifelong passion into a business; providing safe, reliable and cost-effective equine transport options.
Anne studied at the Lincolnshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture, where she undertook a two year HND in Horse Studies, alongside her BHS exams. From here she moved on to work with hunt horses before joining Tiny Clapham’s team at Eventers International (www.eventersinternational.com), where she continued to work for over 15 years.

What We Can Offer
Our Modern, Custom-Built 3.5 tonne Horsebox
Built on a Citroen Relay Enterprise chassis our horsebox was designed with safety in mind. It can transport up to two horses and includes many luxury features, such as: Leather Seats, Air Conditioning, CD Player, DAB Radio, Bluetooth, Electric Windows and Sat Nav.
For the safety and comfort of your horse(s) our vehicle boasts the following features:
1. Longstall with stallion partition
2. Stalled for 2, rear facing
3. No breast bars (reducing the risk of injury)
4. CCTV to horse area
5. Light, airy and spacious horse area
6. 8ft of headroom, with low centre of gravity
7. Easy, low-loading ramp
8. Oversized rear doors for emergency exit
9. Reversing camera
10. Loading and night running lights in horse area
11. 1000kg payload
Our horsebox is insured for self-drive hire and can be driven on a normal car licence (subject to our terms and conditions). It is very economical to run and super easy to drive and manoeuvre. If you are unable to drive yourself, or just prefer not to, you can commission Anne to do the driving for you, safe in the knowledge that she is WATO certified and DEFRA approved.

Our easy to drive horsebox has a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 3.5 tonnes, meaning it can be driven by anyone with a standard car licence. The specifics of the vehicle offer effortless driving, maximum comfort and outstanding economy for your horse’s transportation.
