Christmas at Peatzeria (or should that be Crustmas?) on the Isle of Islay is a time when we embrace all things festive! We love our pizza and we know you do too, so we want to share a slice of Christmas this year with all our lovely diners.

We were delighted to welcome the award-winning Scottish crime writer Ian Rankin to Peatzeria last week. He popped in for lunch and even tweeted a picture to his followers! It was a pleasure to meet him and we’re so glad he enjoyed his seafood pizza.

Every July, the Cantilena Festival celebrates chamber music with the people of Islay, here in the Hebrides of Scotland. Cantilena began life in 1970 as a musical ensemble, formed by cellist and conductor Adrian Shepherd.
The Islay Festival (Fèis Ìle in Gaelic) is our island’s festival of whisky, music and culture. It takes place annually during the last week of May. Here at Peatzeria, we are so looking forward to this year’s event! So, let’s take a look at what’s on at the Islay Festival, happening Friday 24th May to Saturday 1st June 2019.
This June we see the return of the Islay Beach Rugby tournament, one of our favourite local Islay events! Eighteen teams will compete on Port Ellen beach on Saturday 8th June 2019, fighting it out to become this year’s champions.
